Pearlescent inks are fun to write and draw with. However, in order to get the best possible result they
need to be utilized correctly. Make sure to always shake the ink bottle very well to insure the silver
particles spread through the ink. When filling the cartridge or an eyedropper make sure to collect the ink
right after mixing. Before writing, shake the pen in an hourglass motion a few times to ensure that
particles are mixed throughout.

Private Reserve Invincible inks are excellent choice for those who are

One of the most frequent challenges writers face when carried away with work is forgetting to put pen’s
cap back on. This often leads to dried out or evaporated ink that clogs the feeding system. This problem
has been solved by infinity inks. The purpose of the infinity inks is to remain fresh and never to dry while
pen remains capless for hours. The ink was tested in a pen with a cap off for many hours and the
performance remained excellent. Please note, even though the inks are meant to not dry for hours, it is
still recommended to put a cap back on when not using the fountain pen.

Fast dry inks are designed to dry up to four times faster than any regular fountain pen ink. It is an
excellent option for left handed writers as it almost never smudges due to the very short time it takes to
dry.

Every fountain pen is unique in its own way as well as every writer. It is certainly important to consider
the brand, model, and age of the fountain pen. Don’t forget to also consider the writing style and
frequency of fountain pen use. Another important criteria is the paper used for writing. All our inks are
designed to fit different style writings and varied projects.

Make sure to always keep the container sealed when not using it; When refiling fountain pen with the
syringe, make sure to clean it prior to dipping into the ink to avoid mixing color with previously used ink;
Avoid water getting into the ink container if the syringe or an eyedropper were being flushed; Keep in
dry and cool place to insure that ink does not get spoiled or deteriorate.

Yes! The ink is very similar to water color and is quite fun
to draw/paint with.

It depends on the material the pen is made with, but most likely overtime, yes. Using fountain pen flush
to clean pen’s body may help to remove stains and dried out ink. For example, Monteverde Fountain
pen flush is good for removing ink stains of pen’s body.

To fill the converter, simply dip it in the ink well and rotate the handle clockwise to collect the ink, and
wipe off the excess ink with cloth. Then insert it into the front section of the pen.
In order to switch the color, remove the converter from the front section, move the converter into the
suitable space to release the ink and then rotate the handle counter clock wise. Then flush the converter
under lukewarm water, while rotating the handle back and forth, until it is completely clear off ink
previously used. Then proceed refilling the new color ink.

A fountain pen cartridge is a small prefilled with ink or empty plastic container that can be filled with a
syringe and inserted into the pen. It usually can be either long or short. A converter is an empty plastic
container with a piston that allows user to grab the ink by rotating the handle and moving the piston up or down to release the ink. It comes in standard or mini sizes. Both can be used to refill the fountain
pen.

In order to fill an ink cartridge, make sure to use an ink syringe to collect the ink. Then insert it inside the
cartridge and move the tip of the needle all the way to the bottom. Begin releasing the ink from the
bottom and pull the needle slowly upwards as the ink continues to fill the space in the converter. Make
sure to not overfill to avoid ink spills.

Most of the time the instructions that come with fountain pen will indicate what are the ways to fill the
fountain pen. However, one possible way to tell is by the pen’s body length. Simply compare the length
of the long cartridge and the pen’s barrel length to ensure that it will fit when pen is screwed all the
way. However, keep in mind that every pen has a different shapes of body and sometimes, even if the
pen’s length is proportional to the cartridge size, some shapes may not allow it to close and even cause
the cartridge to get stuck. Always refer to the manual instructions that come with the pen. Do not insert
the long cartridge unless certain that it meets the length requirement.

Generally, fountain pens are easy to clean by flushing it in warm water, however, for especially difficult
dry ink particles or any type of smudges it is recommended to soak the pen in warm water for a few
hours and then use Private Reserve polishing cloth. Firmly rub the desired spot for a few minutes, make
sure to not rub too harshly. The smudges and dried ink should come off quickly.
